I love real-life, human stories that epitomize grit, courage, ambition, mental toughness, resilience, and inspiration. And that’s exactly what you have in today’s episode. Jenna Mango, a new Fitness Quest 10 hire & trainer, is a young woman who has one-heckuva story. And she’s about to touch many souls and change many lives.
Jenna started following me when I was on the NBC TV show STRONG and then she became part of my Get Your Mind Right book launch team in 2020. After that, she literally packed her bags and moved from Connecticut to San Diego to immerse herself into our community and culture so she could be a “Big Dawg.”
In today’s episode, Jenna shares her story of consistently being tested as a young girl with mental wars, being bullied, abuse, burnout, and heartbreak. All the while she was writing everything down and journaling, which essentially became her autobiography and then turned into her new book, Choose to R1SE, which was just released on AMAZON and is already on my best-read list!
Specifically, this is what we cover in today’s episode:
– How Jenna started following Todd and then got hired at Fitness Quest 10.
– Being in the room at Todd’s Mastermind event in June 2021 led to publishing a book.
– Top Lessons already learned as an employee at Fitness Quest 10.
– What Jenna loves most about Fitness Quest 10.
– What needed to change for Jenna to get help…the silent battle.
– Jenna shares why she dedicated the book to her brother.
– Hopes for anyone reading Choose to R1SE.
– 3 words about the book…Vulnerability, Resilience, and Inspiration.
I encourage you to share this episode with everyone… kids, moms, dads, family, and friends. You just don’t know who has the “silent battle” going on and needs help!
