durkin-impact-logo2bThe Durkin IMPACT Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that was founded in 2012 on the heels of Hurricane Sandy devastating my home area of the Jersey Shore.

Our Mission: The Durkin IMPACT Foundation was established to motivate, educate, and inspire people to be their best, to foster a spirit of giving back and paying forward, and to create a positive IMPACT in the world.

Now our IMPACT Foundation is raising money for scholarships to non-privileged, under-served student-athletes going to college who exemplify the qualities, traits, work ethic, and attitude of an “IMPACT” person. In addition, our funding priorities help those in need who are affected by natural disasters, childhood obesity, and diseases such as heart disease, disability, and cancer.

Please make check payable to the Durkin IMPACT Foundation. We will send you a receipt with our 501(c)3 tax-deductible number.

Our applications for our IMPACT scholarships are updateded annually. Highschool scholarships will be awarded in May of each year.

Occasionally, we will make donations outside of our IMPACT scholarships. If you have a pressing need where you are affected by natural disaster or disease and exemplify “IMPACT” standards, you can submit your cover letter, application, any receipts, etc. to the aforementioned address. Or you can email them to durkin@fitnessquest10.com with the Subject Line: Durkin IMPACT Foundation—request [See Below For All Applications]

While we do NOT regularly dispense information outside of our IMPACT scholarships, all applications will be reviewed by our Board of Advisors within 90-days and given a response. Thank you.

Our Funding Priorities

The IMPACT Foundation Founders, Todd and Melanie Durkin, along with the Board of Trustees respond to the needs of people affected by natural disasters, childhood obesity, those with diseases such as heart disease & diabetes, and educational & athletic opportunities for those in need.  We are dedicated to funding five (5) significant program areas of interest within the following general annual distribution and allocation percentages:

      • Natural disaster relief (those that have lost homes, been displaced, out of work, etc.) 30%
      • Medical          20%
      • Educational   20%
      • Athletic          20%
      • Environment  10%

Note: From time to time, the Trust may make awards to organizations and institutions that have made no formal request, which we have recognized for exemplary work, and/or show significant promise in one or more of these five areas, and whose continuing work and mission would be more fully enhanced and supported by this funding.
