Happy LAABOOORRR Day!!! If you know me, you know Labor Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year. It goes back to my HS football playing days with the legendary Coach Wolf back in Brick, NJ.
But I’ll save that story for later.
I have mentioned a few times that I took on an “additional” role in June by taking on a strength & conditioning coach role with the local high school (Scripps Ranch). Scripps Ranch has perennially been a losing program, winning just 2 games last year. My hope was that the entire staff and I could develop a championship-caliber program in this community and get these kids A LOT more wins.
But the story took a major twist a few weeks ago when I got some bad news on my son Luke.
Here is the deal about MindRight Maniac Episode #7. I often get asked the question, “How do you balance out being a trainer, coach, entrepreneur, speaker, author….AND father and husband?”
Well, the answer is “It’s NEVER easy. Especially on the day when I was filming this episode is when my sophomore son Luke was declared ineligible for 5-varsity games because of transferring schools (don’t even get me started on this rule after him playing 1-game as a freshman because of a broken arm).”
Anyway, MRM#7 is giving you an “up-close and VERY personal look” behind the scenes in the many roles and hats I wear, and how I do my BEST in each of these roles, even when things don’t go my way.
Enjoy the show and let me know what you think…
This episode has a lot of juice in it. It’s as real as it gets. It shows a ton of “entrepreneurism” when I’m at work.
It reveals some big news about a project I’m working on.
It shows me coaching my Mastermind group of fit pros, along with teaching my TD Fitness Class at Fitness Quest 10.
It shows me coaching the HS football team in our opening game.
And it shows Luke’s reaction to all of this after receiving the bad news.

I would LOVE to get your feedback on this episode. I read every single one of them. You can simply put your comments on YouTube.
Thanks so much for all you do and Happy LABOOORRRR Day!!!
