I recently went on an epic 10-Day whirlwind tour on the East Coast that included book signings, keynote talks, speaking at a conference, podcast recordings, group workouts, and even some football games. This included stops in 5 cities (Providence, Horseheads NY, Williamsburg VA, Chantilly VA, and Washington, DC). The great news is that it really was an extraordinary 10- days and I was able to extract out 5 “big” macro lessons and coaching tips that will provide solid value to you personally and professionally.
Specifically, here is some of what I talk about on today’s IMPACT SHOW:
- Power of Community. How 4 gym owners are driving “community” and doing a great job in building an amazing culture.
- The 3 main points I spoke to the William & Mary Football team about and why it was special to visit my alma mater.
- Power of Your Network. How Professor Howard Smith had it all right.
- Don’t be soft. Play to win. Don’t play to NOT lose. How do you actually do this and why I like what Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame did in their season opener against Texas A&M.
- Why you should NEVER play “prevent defense.”
- Why “IMPACT University” was so powerful and what we did there with our 7-franchisees to maximize IMPACT.
- How we will maximize delivering IMPACT with our Faith, Fitness, Recovery, & Life-Coaching pillars inside of IMPACT-X Performance.
- What does “Rise up to your expectations or sink down to your level of training” really mean?
- Why the greatest coaches lead with enthusiasm, excitement, and positive energy.
