What wisdom or advice would you give to your “younger” self? I recently had the awesome opportunity to lead chapel to 800+ students and faculty at Christian HS (San Diego) and share my answers to this question. For the past 5+ years, I get the great opportunity to lead chapel 2x per year, share my testimony, and fire the kids and adults up. Today, I’d like to share my “live” message with you as well.
At this chapel, I wanted to step back in time and knowing what I know now, what would I tell my 13-18 year old self? While the wisdom is as applicable for adults as much as kids, I alwhoways love talking turkey with them and sharing from the heart & soul. I think you will feel what I mean by listening in.
Some of the topics I discuss include:
- How to lay the foundation for “success” now.
- How to stop “worrying” so much about life.
- How to deal with adversity.
- How and why prayer is so important, regardless of how old you are.
- How to live with divine purpose and put even more faith in God’s plan for you versus your own plan.
Enjoy today’s chapel service. Hopefully it will speak to your mind, body, and spirit today. Thanks for tuning in. If you have a son or daughter, or someone you know who needs to hear this, please share it with them also. Thank you in advance!
