Super Bowl Winning Quarterbacks and MVPs Aaron Rodgers And Drew Brees Share Two Things In—A Drive for a Super Bowl Victory & the Same Performance Coach

San Diego—Super Bowl QB Aaron Rodgers has just won the biggest game of his career. And his highly-acclaimed performance coach, Todd Durkin, couldn’t be more excited for Aaron’s opportunity to cement his place in history. Along with his training partner, Super Bowl winning QB & MVP Drew Brees and a host of eight other NFL quarterbacks, Durkin puts them all through a rigorous physical & mental routine in the off-season.

Durkin, owner of Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego, CA, trains 25 NFL athletes around the League and many stood out this year. Besides Rodgers and Brees, LaDainian Tomlinson, Josh Freeman, Charles Tillman, Kellen Winslow Jr., Ben Leber, Shaun Phillips, and Packer Matt Wilhem all had stellar years. “We have a lot of guys who work tremendously hard in the off-season training program and I believe that this is the impetus for their success.” In regards to Rodgers, Durkin states, “Aaron’s reaching the Super Bowl is a direct result of his commitment to training, taking care of himself, and his relentless focus on achieving his goals.”

Rodgers trains with Durkin three to four days per week to physically prepare for his season. This consists of both 90-minute to 2-hour weight-training sessions and 1 hour field sessions. Durkin says, “Aaron is a tough dude and a hard worker. He is mentally tough and is willing to do all the little things that the great ones do to achieve success.”

Sound familiar? This is now two Super Bowl winning quarterbacks in a row for Durkin. “Time to focus in, stay relaxed, and trust your preparation. The hard work is done. Now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor,” says Durkin.
