5 Reasons You May Not Be Losing Weight that Have Nothing to Do with Diet or Exercise

Diet and exercise are a big part of you looking, feeling, and being your absolute best. But sometimes you can be busting your tail at the gym and eating pretty clean and you don’t yield the results you desire. This often leads to frustration, complacency, or falling off the wagon because you’re not sure why your hard efforts, consistency, and discipline are not paying off with better results.

There is hope! Today, I have Dr. Carleigh GoLightly back on the show to talk about why you may NOT be losing weight that has nothing to do with diet or exercise. Specifically, we talk about the importance of things such as hormones, blood sugar levels, gut health, stress levels, and believe it or not, the amount of time you are exposed to cold (cryo) as key aspects of your body’s make-up and how they need to be in balance in order to maintain a healthy body weight. Additionally, we cover anti-aging, peptide therapy, brain fog, and the connection of gut health to obesity, diabetes and Alzheimer’s.

There is some great information shared in this episode and you’re probably going to want to come back to it more than once. If you do find value in today’s Show, please share it with anyone you know who’s working their tail off and not seeing the results they want. I believe it will help them and positively IMPACT their life. BOOM!

Noteworthy Quotes from this Episode:

“Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

~ The Dalai Lama (when asked what surprised him most about humanity)

“Get busy living or get busy dying” ~ The Shawshank Redemption, Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) and “Red” Redding (Morgan Freeman)

“Leaky gut syndrome is now linked to diabetes, obesity, metabolic disorders, and Alzheimers” ~ Dr. Carleigh Golightly
