Are you ever in a bad mood?

I hope you are having a “WOW” Wednesday.

One of the questions I often get is “Are you ever in a bad mood?”

My answer is “Of course. I just don’t let a bad mood or negative feelings permeate very long. I will do everything I can possibly do to shift any negative emotions or feelings.”

If I’m feeling stress, anxiety, or overwhelm, I will do one of a few things:

  1. Workout.
  2. Journal 3 things I am grateful for.
  3. Do a 5-minute meditation and pray for serenity and balance.
  4. Write down the ONE thing I must do for the rest of the day and not focus on the other 50 things. #WinTheDay #Focus
  5. Tell myself, “Flip the switch and dial it in. Let’s go.” That is called positive self talk and I used it ALL the time. Every day. Multiple times a day. Try it!
  6. Snap my IMPACT or WOW Band. It reminds me to “Get Ur Mind Right.”
  7. Workout. Woops. Did I already mention that? Yes, sometimes I will even do 2 workouts in a day just to deal with a “tough” day or bad mood.

Do whatever it takes to win the battle between the ears. And it is a battle. So much of success is MINDSET and I know the #WinTheDay formula that I talk about in my new WOW BOOK will help you get your mind right and carve out your best day possible.
